Privacy Policy — Paramanu Seniors Notices

Last updated: 2 September 2026

This policy describes how the Android app Paramanu Seniors Notices (org.paramanuseniorshealth.notices) handles information. The app is published on behalf of Paramanu Seniors Health, which is responsible for the notices it delivers.

In short

Paramanu Seniors Notices does not ask you for your name, telephone number, email address, postal address, date of birth, or any health information, and it does not collect any of them. It has no advertising, no analytics, and no tracking. The notices it delivers are the same public announcements published on paramanuseniorshealth.org.

What the app stores on your phone

This information stays on your phone. It is not uploaded. Using Reset this app in Settings, or uninstalling the app, removes all of it.

What the app sends over the internet

An anonymous account identifier. When you enter your activation code, the app creates an anonymous account with Google Firebase. This is a random identifier. It is not connected to your name, your telephone number, your email address, or any account you may have with Google. The identifier is stored alongside your activation code so that the organisation can confirm the code has been used, and can stop notices to a particular phone if asked.

Your activation code, for the same purpose.

A message registration for your app installation. Google Firebase Cloud Messaging assigns an identifier to this installation of the app so notices can be delivered to it. The app itself does not read or store this identifier. Google’s handling of it is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.

Ordinary connection information. As with any app or website, your device’s internet address is visible to the servers it connects to while a notice is being fetched.

Nothing else is sent. In particular, the app does not send your location, your contacts, your photographs, an advertising identifier, or any record of what you read.

What the app does not do

Who processes this information

Google, through the Firebase service, on behalf of Paramanu Seniors Health. Messages are delivered by Firebase Cloud Messaging; the activation record is held in a Firebase database located in Singapore. Google’s practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy and Firebase’s data handling at https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

How long it is kept

Notices and pictures on your phone remain until you delete them, reset the app, or uninstall it.

The record connecting your activation code to its anonymous identifier is kept while the code is in use. If you ask the organisation to release your code, or it is withdrawn, that record is removed.

Your choices

Children

Paramanu Seniors Notices is intended for adults. It is not directed at children and is not designed to appeal to them.
